Established in Sydney in 2010 and Melbourne in 2011, CREW has grown to more than 1500 members.

CREW is an informal networking forum for women in senior compliance, risk and governance related roles within the Australian financial services sector, founded by Penni James and now run by Sarah Penn of Mayflower Consulting.

CREW holds online webinars every few months (with a special guest presenter) and hosts in person events in both Sydney and Melbourne to discuss current issues and topics, swap information and experiences, build networks and to have some fun. We keep each topic broad enough to ensure that everyone will benefit, regardless of specialisation. We also aim to have a balance between technical risk and compliance topics and the 'softer' skills that are so important for a successful career.  

There is no charge to join CREW or attend a forum as we rely on the generosity of our corporate sponsors who host the forums.  We frequently have more than100 attendees at each Sydney forum and around 60 attendees at each event in Melbourne (and usually run a waitlist in both locations).
